Pinnacle Point- Near the SML State Park with Firepit

We had a fun stay at Pinnacle Point. The location was very convenient to marinas, restaurants, and everything we wanted to do on the lake. The dock still had good water considering the lake levels this year, and having Wi-Fi that actually reached the dock was a bonus the kids enjoyed. There is not a floating dock, which made getting the kayak in and out of the water a little challenging, but we made it work. We loved the large deck, which quickly became our favorite spot, and really enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. A couple of things would make the stay even better. Trash service would be a nice addition, especially for families staying a full week. We also would have loved to bring our dog and did ask, but unfortunately this home does not allow pets. Overall, Pinnacle Point was comfortable and in a terrific location by both road and water. We had a great vacation and would recommend it to other families.

The property was nice and kitchen well supplied with required equipment to cook for larger groups. The property was clean and as advertised. The big issue was a disconnect between the renter and the rental agency with costs to rent, supplies available at the house (paper towels, toilet tissue, cleaning supplies...). We overpacked because the get ready stated one thing and when we showed up we experienced something different. I also contacted the owner through the Vrbo chat about some minor issues with the property and they told me to contact the rental agency. It was an off-putting response.
