Blue Ridge Beach

House is great booked it already for next year. However upgrading the downstairs mattresses would be a blessing. Can’t wait to come back

We had a great week at this house - the location on the lake is perfect. It is centrally located so you can reach great spots by boat fairly easily (Bridgewater Marina, the Dam, the State Park). And even with the lake at a historically low level, we could still tie a boat to the lower dock and explore the lake. Our favorite amenity was the beach. The house is also fairly close to stores and not too far from a grocery store compared to other places that we have rented. One major plus of this house is it has the perfect set up for small children. There is a door at the top of the stairs that helped keep my 18 month old off of the stairs. There's a gate on the back porch deck too. Even little details like outlet covers were a big perk in letting us relax more with a little one around the house.

Good location on lake and loved the kayaks, screened porch and sandy beach. House arrangement is perfect for multiple generational family and plenty of room for all. Cleanliness and cleaning could be improved. Stains on upholstered furniture and carpets throughout the house and a definite musty smell downstairs from worn and dirty carpeting. Need to replace toilet flapper in powder room- it stuck with every flush and set off alarm outside. SML Vacation Rental staff was very responsive and helpful. Just a few fixes and deep cleaning would make this the perfect house for so many. We rented again for 2027 and hope to see some repairs and replacements so we can be back for many years to come.

This house has everything you would expect from a lake getaway- beautiful views, good lake access (despite low water), wonderful sandy beach, and great outdoor and indoor spaces for everyone to gather and play. The kitchen was well supplied with all that was needed and the beds and furniture were comfortable. The screened in porch with great furniture was one of the favorite spots! What a wonderful way to relax with family.
