Brown Dog's Bluff

Our stay at Brown Dog's Bluff was wonderful! This dog friendly house has it all. A lovely deck & dock, fantastic game room and location, location location! Even with the low water level due to the drought, we had a great time. It was easy to walk the kayaks into the water and head out to the cove for paddling and fishing. In less than 15 minutes we were at Bridgewater Marina where we rented a boat for a day on the water. The large dining table and stocked kitchen made family dinners a breeze. The table served double duty for game nights. The downstairs game room was put to good use and we particularly enjoyed playing ping pong and pool. Many thanks to the owners for allowing 4 dogs, which enabled our daughter and son-in-law to have their 2 pups join ours for a stay at SML. I highly recommend Brown Dog's Bluff and would return again.

This location is lovely. The property is private, and there is so much to do. The game room is always a hit. The dock is really nice. The cove is quiet and so peaceful. The house is comfortable. It's a great spot and I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Brown Dog's Bluff. The home is beautiful, clean, and comfortable and is located in a quiet, well kept neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Beds were comfortable. We used the linen service which was terrific--it was so nice to have plenty of bath towels and linens that fit all the beds! The family room downstairs was spacious and comfortable. The game room was awesome! Our family loved playing pool and ping pong. The slope to the lake is gradual although might be tough for older family members. We really liked that it was a walkway rather than stairs to get to and from the lake! We were able to park our rented boat at the dock (it is shallow so check the water depth!) and really enjoyed swimming in the no wake cove. The kayaks were awesome!!! Our dog enjoyed exploring the backyard...we really appreciated this dog friendly home. There are some board games and puzzles but I suggest bringing some of your own if these are important to your family vacation. Plenty of parking. And very conveniently located! Just 10 min drive to grocery and 15 min to Bridgewater Marina. Communication from rental company was excellent. Thank you-we had a wonderful stay and would return!

The house was great! Game room was awesome for our boys. Dock set up was great. We rented a pontoon boat also. The leak we had in the master toilet was fixed immediately after i called to inform rental office. Definitely a vacation with tons of memories. Thank you !

A great house! Beautiful and comfy, well prepared, cozy and relaxing to hang out. Downstairs hang out space was great as was the game room. Slope to dock is perfect ... no steps, just a gradual walk. Fire pit super fun ... with a propane fire. Overall wonderful home and highly recommended!
