Break Away

We so enjoyed our stay! The outside area is absolutely fantastic. Lots of space to gather, which was perfect for our larger family. We especially appreciated the extra large kitchen table and double picnic tables because we were all able to dine together. We brought both our pontoon and jet ski. The dock and nearby boat ramp and gas availability worked well. We are hoping to make meeting at Break Away an annual event.

The house and deck area were great We had the family up last week and had a great experience. The marina is very close and we like to go there to hang out doing shopping and play games. So overall we enjoyed the house and deck area very much. And the fishing right off of the dock.

This house was perfect for our family. We had 7 adults and 5 children and all had a blast. So much to do at this property. Plenty of kayaks, noodles, games and books. The air hockey, pool table and hot tub wax fun after a day in the lake. We felt so safe floating in the cove and the main lake was close for us to enjoy the wave runners we rented. Kitchen was fully equipped with lots of extras. Highly recommend this home

Break Away was the ideal house and location for our family vacation. The house was large enough for everyone’s comfort but still felt cozy.We look forward to booking our vacation next year with Break Away. We highly recommend this property.

This was our 5th year enjoying SML with family and friends. Working with Smith Mountain Rental was a pleasure. The house was exactly as advertised and other than the lake was extremely low, we had a great time. The house had wonderful amenities and perfect for large gatherings around the kitchen. Thank you for a wonderful time.
