Livin the Lake Dream

Wonderful rental home for our family for the week, we would stay again. Home is cozy and excellent for family vacation. The house is easy access from the road and ample parking. The location on the cove is perfect. It was a quiet deep cove with lots of “wildlife watching” to enjoy while we were swimming. There is a wonderful concrete path from the house to dock, but fair warning…it is a leg burner!!! It was worth the workout though! The dock is wonderful, and we rented a boat for the week, and it was easy to tie up and maneuver. The rental agency was excellent!!

Our family greatly enjoyed our week at this property. We liked the features of the home, it’s location on the lake and the neighborhood. Very comfortable with room to spare for our family of six. The quiet cove and dock were great for swimming and boating. Very peaceful and quiet! We loved the screened porch with views of the lake in mornings and evenings. We took full advantage of all this property offers and were very happy with it. I would only caution others that the walk between house and dock is steep, but we found it manageable.

Our stay at this home was absolutely fantastic—A+ comfort all around. The open floor plan made the space feel warm and inviting, and it was easy for everyone in our group to relax and enjoy themselves. The dock was definitely a highlight—it was perfect for the grandkids to swim off of and hang out by the water. Parking was easy for both our car and the boat, and water access was great. The slope down to the lake is a bit of a leg burner, but nothing too extreme—it’s manageable and worth it once you get to the water. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking, which made meal prep easy and enjoyable. If you’re planning a stay, I’d recommend bringing a good book—you’ll want to sit back, relax, and soak in the beauty of the lake. This is a great spot to unwind and make memories. We had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

We just returned from an amazing stay at this vacation rental and couldn’t be happier with our experience! Nestled in a private location, the house offered a spacious interior that made us feel right at home. Each room was generously sized, giving us plenty of room to relax and unwind. One of the highlights was the screened porch, where we spent hours enjoying the fresh air without worrying about bugs. The grilling area was perfect for our cookouts, and the dock and fire pit created the ideal setting for evening gatherings. We never felt cramped, thanks to the thoughtful layout and ample space. The double ovens are a bonus! Our dog also loved the wildlife around the property, making for some fun and adventurous moments. Despite being in a tranquil setting, we were conveniently close to restaurants and shopping. Don’t miss out on a visit to Emerson Creek Pottery—it’s definitely worth it! A note for future guests: the driveway is a bit steep, but we managed to park several cars without any issues. We also want to give a shout-out to the rental company, who were incredibly helpful after we got redirected due to the hurricane hitting NC. With our time off already scheduled, this place turned out to be the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back in the summer! Thanks again for sharing your home!

We were celebrating my birthday weekend and it couldn't have been any better! The house is very comfortable and in a great location on the lake! We definitely will be back!
