Livin the Lake Dream

We just returned from an amazing stay at this vacation rental and couldn’t be happier with our experience! Nestled in a private location, the house offered a spacious interior that made us feel right at home. Each room was generously sized, giving us plenty of room to relax and unwind. One of the highlights was the screened porch, where we spent hours enjoying the fresh air without worrying about bugs. The grilling area was perfect for our cookouts, and the dock and fire pit created the ideal setting for evening gatherings. We never felt cramped, thanks to the thoughtful layout and ample space. The double ovens are a bonus! Our dog also loved the wildlife around the property, making for some fun and adventurous moments. Despite being in a tranquil setting, we were conveniently close to restaurants and shopping. Don’t miss out on a visit to Emerson Creek Pottery—it’s definitely worth it! A note for future guests: the driveway is a bit steep, but we managed to park several cars without any issues. We also want to give a shout-out to the rental company, who were incredibly helpful after we got redirected due to the hurricane hitting NC. With our time off already scheduled, this place turned out to be the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back in the summer! Thanks again for sharing your home!

This property exceeded our expectations, was very well stocked and maintained. The walk to the lake was a little challenging for older people but was doable, and better than most rental properties. The house location in the cove was off mainstream traffic making it excellent for swimming and paddle board.

Overall the house and amenities were lovely. The only thing we wish we knew was how steep the slope was down to the lake. This was a vacation for the entire family which included the grandparents. The walkway was way too steep closer to the house that the grandparents couldn't come down to the lake to enjoy the view. It's definitely designed for younger people.
