Almost There

Where’s the clothes washer? I had to embark on a mini scavenger hunt before I found it tucked away in the bedroom closet! But once we settled in, we felt right at home. The house fit our family of six perfectly, plus our energetic collie, who couldn’t get enough of racing up and down the hill to the dock. Honestly, I barely had the energy to watch him! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking essentials we could need and then some. The only thing I’d suggest adding is a rice cooker; I'll bring mine next time! Having a dedicated space for the kids on the lower floor was a game-changer. They enjoyed their big-screen TV and games while the adults upstairs savored some much-needed peaceful conversation. All in all, Almost There was the perfect getaway for our family. We can’t wait to come back!

We had an excellent time at this place for our guys' fishing trip! The 4 bedrooms and 3 baths gave us plenty of space to chill. Being pet-friendly was a nice bonus, too. We brought two corgis. We took out a charter for some serious fishing, but we also put the grill to work and enjoyed some great evenings around the fire pit. The lot was steep, and it's a good thing we are in good shape. It gave us a workout! Thanks again for making the home so enjoyable.

There were 8 adults ranging from 20-71 years of age staying at this wonderful lake house. It had 4 very comfortable bedrooms, a large kitchen with all the cooking supplies you would need and a comfy living room with flat screen tv. Overall, we had a very relaxing week and rented a boat to do activities on the water. The dock was so much fun to hang out and soak in the water. Our dog loved it as well! The steps down took some getting used to, but we were less winded by the end of the week, so improved our cardio fitness!
