Dock Days

Wow! What a wonderful weekend at Dock Days! Thank you for sharing your home. The layout and location worked great for our family of 4 (two college aged sons). The home met our wish list for a great water spot, wonderful views, time outdoors, 3 BRs, two living spaces, two bathrooms. It was very quiet and we rested well. Kroger was apx 10+ mins away. We dined at Jake’s, Cancun, and Copper Kettle. We didn’t happen to rent a boat this trip (our 4th stay at SML, in general, since 2021). The rental instructions were clear and gave us everything we needed for easy entry and lock up. We were already familiar with taking trash to the dump from a previous rental. Kitchen was somewhat small, but perfect for easy breakfast and lunches. We borrowed the home’s badminton set and were able to use the upper grass lot. We took our own paddleboards and floats — this was my favorite water spot of 4 SML vacations. The dock has been nicely maintained. We caught the ice cream boat two evenings. We did not have any home maintenance issues during the stay. Home was clean and we paid the linen service. Home provided good seating options. With rain in the evenings, we didn’t use the fire pit. Parking — newly paved driveway. Home sits below street view when you arrive. Would definitely consider this home again for 4-6 persons. Note: For toddlers, which didn’t apply for us, I’d have some reservation on the upper deck. Thanks again for a great way to wrap up summer!

They charged extra money for trash. I don’t know what we did wrong. We removed trash and put it to the trash can( outside the house)

We enjoyed our week at Dock Days. We always get together for a week at SML with our adult children . Dock days was very comfortable and we were able to visit and relax. We enjoyed the dock and spent a lot of time fishing and also enjoyed just floating in the lake. We were also happy that Dock days is on the ice cream boat route. Even though we are older there is nothing like the excitement of getting an ice cream from the ice cream boat! Thanks for sharing your home with my family. Amy
