Cozy Cove

It was a great property - well appointed and had all of the necessary kitchen supplies, plateware, pots, pans, etc. to make daily meals. We loved having our own dock for the pontoon boat we rented for the week. This location also really worked in terms of the location on the lake - very centrally located. Finally, it is very close to the local grocery store - Food Lion about 2 miles away. That made it very easy for our daily trips to the store for meal supplies

We had a delightful time at this home! It was clean, cool, and very comfortable overall. The mattresses were a bit firm for our taste, but everything else made up for it. We especially enjoyed the peaceful cove and the daily visits from deer in the yard—it really added to the charm of the place. We rented a boat during our stay, and the dock setup was perfect. The slope to the water was a little steep in one spot, but the path was well maintained and easy to follow. The fenced yard was a huge bonus for our dog—he had a great time exploring safely. One thing we really appreciated was having two refrigerators. We cooked a lot during our trip, so that extra space came in handy. The kitchen was well stocked overall, though a small saucepan would’ve been helpful (especially when making things like Eggs Benedict). We were pleasantly surprised to find the skillets in great condition—a rare find in a rental! Honestly, we didn’t feel like anything was missing, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year. Thank you for a great experience!

We really enjoyed the privacy and location of the house. My husband and I wanted a house that our children and grandkids could all stay in but have our own privacy. This house was perfect for that. We were even able to enjoy our grand dog The house was also in a convenient location if we wanted to go out for groceries or shopping. Would recommend to anyone for spending family vacation time together

The house was nice and had everything we needed. The location of the home couldn’t be better. We were about 7-10 minutes from stores and restaurants. By boat, Bridgewater is basically just across the lake. The dock was big enough to park our ski boat and a pontoon that we rented which was nice. The only downside to this home is the access to the lake/dock. It’s on a hill and the first part going down and top part coming up are a real Leg Burner. We made do by having our older guests drive about 2 miles up the road to a nice public launch. All in all, we had a fantastic trip.

Perfect location! Very quiet, right on the water, and only a few mins away from town
