Nice house, master bathroom could use a barn door type of closure

Reflections is one of the most unique lake homes we have ever stayed in. The retro vibe is everywhere—bright colors, patterns, and mirrors... The moment we walked in and saw that huge lake view (and the wet bar!), we knew we were in for a good time. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the dining room with the mirrored ceiling was a total conversation starter. There was plenty of space for our group to spread out, and the kids basically claimed the downstairs lounge and gaming area as their own. The dock was awesome—lots of room to sunbathe, hang out in the shade, or just sit and watch the water. Evenings on the party deck were one of our favorite parts of the trip. The upstairs master had a fantastic view, and the bathroom was so uncommon that everyone wanted to check it out. The only thing we might add is a few more outdoor chairs for bigger groups, but otherwise, it was perfect. We would come back for another round of lake fun!

The house was absolutely wonderful and had everything we needed for our short stay. Tons of stays and lots too so. Our favorite part was the dock, which was where we spent the majority of our time. My husband and kids absolutely love fishing, so a great dock is a necessity. Our only issue with the home, also the reason for a 4 star rating and not a 5, was there was never enough hot water. We could not even get enough hot water to take a full shower. This was very disappointing after a long day of fishing. Had our stay been longer, we would have called to see what could be done about it. The place is perfect otherwise, however this issue would definitely keep us from renting again.

My family of seven had the pleasure of staying at the Reflections home for our third year at Smith Mountain Lake, and I can confidently say this was our favorite rental yet! The house is situated in a tranquil cove. The location provided a peaceful getaway while still being close to the action. We rented a pontoon boat from Mitchell’s and spent hours enjoying the lake from the dock. The partial shade at the dock was a huge plus, allowing us to relax comfortably, and the extra seating options made it the perfect spot for gathering. The house itself was fantastic. With multiple decks, we had plenty of space for evening gatherings and enjoyed boat-watching. It was very clean, especially considering the amount of glass and mirrors, and it was well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The extra refrigerator was a lifesaver for storing our dock-tails, and the grill was clean and had extra propane, making our nightly barbecues possible. The kids loved having their own gaming area and bunk room, which gave them a space to hang out while the adults enjoyed the other two levels of the house. It felt like a home away from home, with room for everyone to unwind. Check-out was straightforward, and while you do need to take your trash to a local dump site (which was easy and close by), it was a small price to pay for such a wonderful experience. Our family had a wonderful time staying in reflections in july 2024. The home, view, water access, location, ect. Was absolutely wonderful. We truly couldn't have ask or expected a better home to stay in. Out of everything the home had to offer the only suggestion we could possibly offer would be condition, access and quantity of dock cleats. Outside of that perfect is the only word that comes to mind.
