Reflections

Reflections was a wonderful place for our family vacation. The home was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out while still enjoying time together. The Reflections homeowner really went above and beyond by arranging a nearby marina slip for us during the drought. Since there wasn't enough water at the house to keep our boat, having a slip just about a mile away absolutely saved our vacation and allowed us to enjoy the lake every day. The house was perfect for our family. The kids loved the bunk room and gaming TV area downstairs, and the extra refrigerator was a huge help for drinks and snacks so we only shopped once. We also made good use of the community pool when we weren't out on the water. A big thank you as well to the team at SML Vacation Rentals. They were friendly, easy to work with, and shared lots of great local recommendations that made our trip even better. We had a great stay and would definitely come back!

Nice house, master bathroom could use a barn door type of closure

Reflections is one of the most unique lake homes we have ever stayed in. The retro vibe is everywhere—bright colors, patterns, and mirrors... The moment we walked in and saw that huge lake view (and the wet bar!), we knew we were in for a good time. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the dining room with the mirrored ceiling was a total conversation starter. There was plenty of space for our group to spread out, and the kids basically claimed the downstairs lounge and gaming area as their own. The dock was awesome—lots of room to sunbathe, hang out in the shade, or just sit and watch the water. Evenings on the party deck were one of our favorite parts of the trip. The upstairs master had a fantastic view, and the bathroom was so uncommon that everyone wanted to check it out. The only thing we might add is a few more outdoor chairs for bigger groups, but otherwise, it was perfect. We would come back for another round of lake fun!

House had everything we needed and then some. The interior design was bold and fun. The dock was great to swim from and even included a rope swing into the water. There was plenty of room at the dock for our rental ski boat. A good protected area for skiing was just outside the cove. We would love to stay there again.

The house was absolutely wonderful and had everything we needed for our short stay. Tons of stays and lots too so. Our favorite part was the dock, which was where we spent the majority of our time. My husband and kids absolutely love fishing, so a great dock is a necessity. Our only issue with the home, also the reason for a 4 star rating and not a 5, was there was never enough hot water. We could not even get enough hot water to take a full shower. This was very disappointing after a long day of fishing. Had our stay been longer, we would have called to see what could be done about it. The place is perfect otherwise, however this issue would definitely keep us from renting again.
