Paradise

We loved the house and the beautiful view—it was a great spot for a relaxing getaway. Inside, the home was very clean, especially impressive for a pet-friendly rental. We also appreciated being able to bring our dog, which made the trip even better. That said, a few outdoor areas could use some attention. The pool needed more regular service. It got pretty green during our stay, though to be fair, it rained each day for an hour in the high heat. The dock—while functional—could definitely benefit from some refinishing. Given the rental price and how much use the dock likely gets, some maintenance would go a long way. Overall, it’s a great place, but a few updates would elevate the experience.

We recently stayed at this fantastic house, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The location is absolutely perfect—right by the marina and the bridge, making it incredibly convenient to access both sides of the lake. We loved watching the boat traffic and cars going over the bridge; it kept our family entertained for hours. The property is also close to a public golf course, which was a great perk. My kids had a blast with the pool table and fishing from the dock. Renting a boat was close and easy. The fire pit was a hit for s'mores, too. The house was clean, with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. This house truly had something for everyone, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Outside, the house was very dirty. The outside sitting area was full of spiders and spiderwebs. Stains on couches and outside furniture. None of the bedroom TVs worked. One of the bedroom headboards wasn’t even attached to the bed.

Response: I am so sorry you did not contact the office while you were in for the week. This house has a monthly pest control service, which I would have called in as an extra service for you. The cable is through Xfinity, and we have not had that report. This week's guests said they are working. We did send maintenance to reaffix the headboard. We always want to make the most of your stay, but if issues are not reported until after you depart, we can not address them in a timely manner.

Great home with a pool on the lake! Fabulous vacation. The outdoor firepit was also nice each evening. We loved it!

Response: We are glad you enjoyed the house. It is such a wonderful place to watch boating, see the Hales Ford Bridge, and see people vacationing. Hearing the live music in the afternoon on Sunday at Mangos is great, too, and it is very close!
