Painted Sky Landing

We really enjoyed our stay at Painted Sky Landing. The water views were beautiful, and we loved having the kayaks right there to get out and explore the cove. The decks were great for relaxing and enjoying the lake, especially in the evenings. The home felt very private and peaceful but was still convenient to Moneta for groceries and restaurants. We thought it was a really good value for a waterfront home and would definitely stay here again.

The house is clean and pet friendly. It has an excellent view of the lake, with large balconies to sit and enjoy the view. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cookware and utensils. This is important for me because of my culinary profession.

Our family of 5 plus our medium sized dog absolutely loved our relaxing week at Painted Sky Landing! A beautiful house with an amazing kitchen that has absolutely anything you could need. Games, books, puzzles all over the house - no way to be bored. Loved the deck with the fan. A great spot (my favorite). Only thing I would change on it is raise the added bar table so you can see the water while sitting in the chairs. 61 steps to the water - first couple days it's a leg burner but we had no problem with it. Enjoyed the fire pit at night! I would bring cushions for the outside chairs, firmer pillows, and a couple throw blankets. Don't miss the ice cream boat! He is awesome and we enjoyed it almost every day! Thank you for opening your home. Oh - the book nook - our daughter loved it! Water is wonderful and it's a great spot on a cove so it's not too busy but you catch some waves when bigger boats go by on the main channel. Thank you!

The house has such a cool design—we noticed it right away when we pulled up. It’s tucked into a quiet lot with lots of shade trees and space to enjoy the outdoors. We spent most evenings on the deck watching some of the most incredible sunsets-true to the name, the sky looked like a painting every night. Inside, the layout worked great for our group. The only suggestion would be another full bathroom on the main or upper level. There was plenty of space to spread out, and the kitchen had everything we needed for meals and was very well organized. The kids loved having the foosball and ping-pong tables, and the fire pit was a hit after dark. We also made good use of the kayaks and paddleboards down at the dock—the cove was calm and perfect for swimming and paddling. It’s a colorful, fun, well-kept house that made us feel right at home. We really enjoyed it!

Great experience for my family. House has everything you need for a relaxing and fun lake vaca. Also has all the things you forgot to bring - We'll be back!
